Chicagoland favorite Portillo's confirms plans to open a restaurant in Cowtown. The Fort Worth location will be located in the North City Development, along N. Tarrant Parkway between Interstate 35W and U.S. Highway 287, about 10 miles south of Texas Motor Speedway. Portillo's is famous for several signature items including Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and their chocolate cake shake. Like the restaurant that opened in The Colony earlier this year , the Fort Worth restaurant will feature a garage-style design, a double-drive through and include an outdoor patio.
